Today the German e3 IDF GmbH announced its expansion as it opens a new office in France as an extension to the partnership with IdentiFlight International. This new office is operated by the 100% subsidiary e3 IdentiFlight France and will afford French customers a local sales presence to assist with renewable energy project development where IdentiFlight’s certified avian detection technology is required.
IdentiFlight to Study Bird Species at First South African Site
IdentiFlight is pleased announce its entry in South Africa. KAP Limited (KAP) has purchased the first IdentiFlight system in South Africa as part of a research plan for their Renewable Energy Strategy, and contracted Proconics to assist with purchase and installation of the IdentiFlight system.
IdentiFlight Receives French Authority’s Acceptance
IdentiFlight has been accepted in March 2023 by the Grand-East Region authorities in France as effective in reducing the mortality rates of the red kite in French wind farms. It is the first time that French authorities have validated an automated system as a sufficient measure to reduce the risk of bird collisions.
IdentiFlight Announces Issuance of Two New U.S. Patents for Avian Detection
IdentiFlight International announced today that the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has issued U.S. Patent No. 11,544,490 (January 3, 2023) and U.S. Patent No. 11,555,477 (January 17, 2023), which relate to the detection of flying animals, such as birds or bats, while using an imaging system.
IdentiFlight to Protect Avian Wildlife from Turbine Collisions at Masdar Wind Farm in Uzbekistan
IdentiFlight® is pleased to announce that the IdentiFlight avian detection technology will be utilized throughout a wind farm development in Zarafshan, Uzbekistan. The 500-megawatt wind project will be Uzbekistan’s first utility-scale wind farm and the largest renewables project in Central Asia.
